Bits & Bats

Hope everyone had a good May Day holiday.

World Workers, whatever may bind ye,
This day let your work be undone:
Cast the clouds of the winter behind ye,
And come forth and be glad in the sun.

From The Worker's Maypole by Walter Crane

Thanks to MZA for his hospitality and for introducing me to Firefly, Joss Wheedon's short lived but superb sci-fi series.

MZA also sent me this link to Kevin Smith's review of Revenge of the Sith. It contains many spoilers but the message is that Lucas is back on form.
Another film review as Claire saw Hitchhikers on Friday night. Her review is
"Fell asleep after an hour. 'nuff said"
It would be churlish of me to remind her of the abuse I got when I fell asleep 45 minutes into Lord of the Rings (I feel sleepy just typing the words) so I'll not mention it. The omens are not good.

I'm now watching Frida the Salma Hayek produced film on the life of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. I'm very impressed.
