Yeah but...

Life imitating art imitating life...

SUPER-ASBO FOR TEEN

A foul-mouthed teenager dubbed the real life Vicky Pollard has been evicted from her home after 111 complaints were made about her behaviour. Locals said Kerry McLaughlin, from Wallsend, near Newcastle, was just like the shell-suited chav from the television show Little Britain. They claimed she made their lives a misery with loud parties and screamed obscenities.

McLaughlin has also been handed a "super ASBO" after hurling bins at passing motorists, holding motorbike races and threatening neighbours who complained. She denied she was that much of a problem. She told Sky News: "When I have parties I stay inside so I didn't know about bottles and problems outside."

The Anti-Social Behaviour Order is so powerful the 19-year-old could be arrested immediately if she plays music, has more than two visitors between 10pm and 7am, drinks, or causes a nuisance. One local, who did not want to be named, said McLaughlin was "like that girl from Little Britain, she wears her hair in a top-knot with a scrunchy and talks like her." When McLaughlin moved to the area three years ago she already had previous convictions for being drunk and disorderly and assault. In one incident she hit a bus driver in the face with a beer can, and she is banned from driving after a crash in January. North Tyneside Council spokesman Colin Boxshall said: "People have a right to live in peace and quiet and we will take whatever action necessary to protect that right."
